When designer Bertjan Pot designed the Patiobench High, he had been searching for garden furniture that offers both comfort and privacy, but found it a combination that’s hard to find. It led him to design a garden bench that creates a true patio feeling and provides privacy to a garden or an office. Hide away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a moment of true peace and quiet.
The Patiobench High has the same clever design that makes this hardwooden bench actually comfortable and relaxing to sit in, without needing garden pillows. The slats are placed in a particular angle, following the lines of the body to provide optimal softness and support. The Patiobench High will be available in Oxide Red, Gray Blue and Cement Gray.

Is the wood treated?
Yes the wood has been oiled. We recommend treating the wood with an oil every year. Even with an oil, the wood will turn gray over time.
Is the wood FSC?
Yes the wood is and is expected to remain FSC, but since we ourselves as a company are not FSC certified we are not allowed to communicate this.
Where is the product produced?
It is expected that in the future the production will take place in China. The first small batch will come from NL + Czech Republic, perhaps a second batch also if China is not fast enough to the right quality. The goal is to go to China as soon as possible.
For how many persons is the sofa suitable?
For 2 to 3 persons.
Can the steel rust?
In addition to the powder coating, the steel has also undergone a cataphoresis treatment, which is a high-quality primer that not only ensures good adhesion of the powder coating but also provides good corrosion resistance. This is a technique used in the automotive industry, among others. In combination with the powder coating, the steel should remain beautiful for many years. Small rust spots may occur, especially in areas where the steel is damaged. This can be treated with a rust remover or rust converter, and then any minor damage can be touched up with a paint marker.
PRIVACY AND COMFORT IN ONE
The high back of the patio bench is made of perforated steel. The panels provide the perfect balance between letting through enough light but also creating a secluded and quiet spot.
COMFORTABLE IN ITS SIMPLICITY
The elegant angles of the wooden slats follow the exact shape of the body, creating seating comfort without needing pillows.
HIGH QUALITY DESIGN
The combination of wooden slats on a steel frame makes the patio bench both sturdy as well as aesthetically pleasing.
