Outdooroven recipe: Crispy Potatoes

Welcome to this delicious recipe for Crispy Potatoes! These crispy potatoes are perfect as a side dish or tasty snack. With a little parmesan cheese, herbs and a delectable sauce, these potatoes are sure to impress your taste buds. Make sure your Outdoor oven is heated to the right temperature.

Ingredients:
  • 200/250 grams of steamed potatoes
  • 40/50 grams parmesan
  • 400 grams of Greek yogurt
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Fresh herbs from the garden (your choice: basil, coriander, etc.)
  • Olive oil
  • A pinch of paprika powder
Step 1. Gather all the ingredients and heat up the outdoor oven. Make sure there is a good fire and the outdoor oven has a temperature of about 250/300 degrees. In the meantime, cut the potatoes in half.

Step 2. Take your casserole dish or a baking dish and make sure there is a small layer of oil on the bottom, this is where the potatoes will go like this.

Step 3. Then sprinkle the Parmesan and the pinch of paprika over the small layer of oil and place the potatoes with the open inside facing down. This will allow the oil, Parmesan and herbs to penetrate the potato more easily and give it plenty of flavor.

Step 4. Add a little more olive oil and sprinkle the potatoes with some Parmesan cheese. Is the outdoor oven warm enough? If so, the baking dish can be placed in the upper part of the outdoor oven. Open the door and slide the dish into the space between.

Step 5. Now that the potatoes are in the oven, you can prepare the sauce. To do this, take a blender/bowl to hand. Add the clove of garlic, the fresh garden herbs and the Greek yogurt and blend everything together to make a delicious, fresh sauce. Choose the garden herbs yourself and try to add a certain amount to adjust the sauce to your taste.

Step 6. Check the condition of the potatoes from time to time. When the cheese has become hard and crispy and the potatoes are a little browned, your snack is ready.
